Just buy it new. Turn on. Turn on Plane mode ( off WiFi ). Never register in Amason. Only open box )
Where can I find a manual how to stop kindel updates?

There's none.

No way to block updates on non-JB Kindles apart from sticking to airplane mode or blocking Amazon from your network.

First of all thanks @ilovejedd for all the hard work
My question: Did anyone brick their PW4 with this method?
I have a PW4 with 5.13.3 firmware and I am planning to jailbreak it just hesitating a bit. I read through the thread and I haven't seen a report of a bricked PW4 but I just wanted to ask if any of you is aware of a case where a PW4 got bricked with this method ?

Couldn't resist this and ordered a PW4 from Amazon Spain this week. Was running 5.12.4 stock. Everything installed smoothly.

so i did the jailbreak a couple weeks ago and everything went fine. i guess i misunderstood because i thought it would block updates, so i left it on WiFi and now it has updated to 5.13.4

is there a way to go back? what do i need to install again? or could i just factory reset it to get rid of all the jb stuff and just be on 5.13.4? i'd prefer to stay jb but in all honestly while the screensaver tweak is neat, its not essential for me.

thanks in advance for any tips.
