There are only a few buttons. So try the combinations. My H2O only has a power and a reset. So I guess I would have to power off and press both simultaneously?

From what I can see, the device is still running. Do a factory reset from the Device information screen of the settings.

For the Kobo devices without an extra button, the factory reset is done by:

- Hold the power switch down for twenty seconds to ensure it is off.
- Turn on the device and keep holding the power button down.
- Tap both bottom corners of the screen a few times.
- When the screen changes, release the power button.

Timing is important. I never get it right the first time.

Thank you davidfor. I have now reset my device with that bottom corners method and restored my Kobo. I recommend everyone to use this method!

I have installed KSM8 and after i have installed latest Koreader version but Dutch Hyphention is still not working. Also i see that after installing Koreader that Dutch automatically was chosed from the menu. I have really downloaded the zip file of koreader and extracted again to the Kobo. Also if Nickel was opened and if i want to reboot to KSM, i must 2x reboot to become in KSM, this is another problem.

I've added Dutch hyphenation ages ago. It is independent from interface language, though! To set it manually first open a eBook, open menu, 2nd tab choose hyphenation, choose Dutch.

If you don't like the way a word is hyphenated, you can edit Dutch.pattern in the data directory, IIRC, to your liking. If it is an improvement, you could commit it to github and send a pull request.
