OTOH embedded fonts (I sometime use for chapter titles) seem to work out
Thanks ducks. Yeah, that stuff won't bother me.

I have been reading a few comments in this post. Recently I was quite active here too, not knowing what to get; a Kobo Aura or Kindle PW2. I purchased the Kindle for $119 and for $8.95 an extra 2 years insurance (at Staples). First reaction to my family when I showed the Kindle; it looks like a real book! It is quick, super fast downloading books from Amazon or get the samples in an instant.
The other thing I was reading about and did not realize but I have no ads on my Kindle. I thought with ads they talked about the bookstore. Same as you go to the bookstore on Kobo on your ereader. I have that too on my Kindle. But no ads.
I just decided for the Kindle because of the customer service (they offer same book prices as Kobo btw so no difference here) a greater selection of books and for me it seems that the light was better on Kindle than Kobo Aura. By the way, the Kobos that were in two different stores as a display model had a problem...

The ad-supported eInk Kindles are currently only sold to customers in the US (unlike the ad-supported Kindle Fire tablets, which are sold world-wide).
