If and when I drink water, it's tapwater. But when I'm really thirsty I like bubbles in my water, like Perrier or Spawater. We have a good quality of soft tapwater.
Our cat likes to drink ' old ' rainwater when she's outside.

In my cup: cold Arabica-coffee

Neither am I. I just try to be conscious about the things I buy. I'd rather buy something a little more expensive that comes in a paper package than buy something similar, cheaper but with lots of plastic wrapped around it. And I recycle. Although now I come to think of it, it did join in a protest when they wanted to destroy a little park in Ghent so they could create more parking spaces

We always get one of these when we are staying in SE Asian areas that require bottled water for both drinking and cooking. MUCH cheaper to use. When a single liter of water costs 10a in the supermarket, a 25 liter bottle delivered to the door only costs 20a-25a, and there is no carrying bottles from the car to the apartment either!
I'm pretty sure I have no room for that on my kitchen counter or anywhere else in my home The tap is there already and doesn't take up too much space Besides, you still have to be home when they deliver a bottle, and I'm just not home that often ... And definitely not during business hours.

I like water either ice cold or boiling hot (when I'm having tea).

I haven't found a glass or aluminum bottle yet to use at home. I tried to order a Dopper (the bottle Desertblues has), but they don't deliver to Belgium but I did find this: the WaterBobble!

I've ordered one from a shop in Belgium, I will pick it up at the store some time next week. I'll use this at the office and on the go. The yellow thingy is the waterfilter, and should last for about 2 months. I'm not sure I'll be able to put water with teisseire in this though

In my cup right now: Turkish Apple tea.

Our tap water is abundant and excellent. Neighboring municipalities are always trying to steal it from us.
Good water is fundamental, not only for tea and coffee, but for cooking pasta and making ice cubes.

This gives me an idea for Little Daughter. Mint leaves in ice cubes.

The aqueduct was built by MariaTeresa d'Austria. Not by her in person of course.

I like sparkling water. Cold. I use this gadget. I am very happy with it. One can make it very frizzy or less frizzy. No more carloads of bottles, no more recycling. Except changing the bottles every couple of years.

Non sparkling cold water, I get it from the fridge door.

And they even have light sirops I'm just wondering: how long does one carbonator last? I can't find the answer on their website ...

green tea -

water for drinking and cooking goes through a carbonate filter, no way do we want to drink it straight from the tap, it has a lousy taste - and when the weather is generally wet they add extra fluoride....

it lasts hugely. At least several months with us. I keep always one in reserve.

I never drink cold water.
First of all it is healthier for stomach (it doesn't like cold). Secondly, there is less chance to get sore throat.

I recycle too, however, I do it only if it doesn't involve changing my personal habits. I am a typical NIMBY. For example, I used to drink bottled water at work, then re-use 0.5L bottle for 3-4 days refilling it with a water from water station (probably the same as tap water). Then chuck it into the standard bin, cannot be bothered to recycle at work. One day I learned that re-used plastic bottles might retain some viruses/micro organisms that are unhealthy. After that I bought a metal flask and refill it instead, cheaper.
However, at home, it is convenient to have a few packs of 8x2L bottles of water for drinking only. For cooking we just use tap water. For tea we use tap water filtered in Brita water filter.
Spoiler:
My wallet and life style are miles ahead of worrying about planet.

Lots of water today because I had to walk a lot. Maybe I will make a cup of tea now. Ceylon?
