What is wrong with it?

There are some really nice bottles made from recycled aluminum that work great. I have three at home but I can't remember the brand name. LL Bean sells them in the US.

Nothing is wrong with it. A Brita or Pur filter device (pitcher or tap attachment) does a fine job of removing bad stuff from the water and greatly decreases the number of plastic or glass bottles you have to recycle. Recycling is great but it still uses resources. If you can use something that gets you good tasting, clean water and reduce the amount of resources you use, then that is even better.

And I don't trust the quality of the water in most bottled water. There have been far too many scams with people selling tap water or hose water as designer water.

I would rather replace my filter once every three months. But that is me.

What she said

My mom always makes sure she buys stuff what as little packaging as possible. We always had everything in glass bottles. I guess I grew up with the idea that plastic bottles are bad

Oh, I see.
I thought you were kidding that you care about packaging and recycling.
Spoiler:
I am no treehugger. Sorry

A cup of NBTea's Keemun.
I drink it from a new cup.
I bought Bodum UK Pavina glass, double walled, pair, 12 oz

It is slightly bigger than Oscar Cups
Both new filters that I bought a month ago are quite big and it was a bit inconvenient/awkward. The new cups are almost perfect Almost, because I prefer Lacafetiere's shape.

Klean Kanteen is the company that I am thinking of. Nice recycled aluminum bottles with no coating.

Finished two pots of Keemun. Working on cup one of Diplomats Tea.

It is a boring mix of Darjeeling and Assam. It is an ok cup of tea but works well when I want to make an individual small cup and don't want to make 16-18 ounces of something.

Well I told my mama on the day I was born
"Don't ya cry when you see I'm gone"
"Ya know there ain't no woman gonna settle me down"
"I just gotta be traveling on" a-Singing...

Green, Green, it's green they say
On the far side of the hill,
Green, Green, I'm going away
Where the grass is greener still.

Ohaio gozaimasu! Another pink morning in Japan and I've greeted it with a mug of Taylors of Harrogate's Yorkshire tea and a package of cheese that is that in name only. They forgot to include the flavor.

Every give any thought to either the floor or table top models of water dispensers such as are used in offices? They are pretty cheap, you can get them with hot water and ice water taps, and don't take up much room.

We always get one of these when we are staying in SE Asian areas that require bottled water for both drinking and cooking. MUCH cheaper to use. When a single liter of water costs 10a in the supermarket, a 25 liter bottle delivered to the door only costs 20a-25a, and there is no carrying bottles from the car to the apartment either!

Perhaps the best known brand there is Ahmad! Iran is a 'black tea' country and there are several large tea importers. It will be difficult for you to find teas other than black, so perhaps we will have another convert soon! Otherwise, if you wish to have your green or red stuff, you might want to bring it with you. Black is what was always served there in the past.

Speaking of which, I'll have a second cup of black (Yorkshire ) tea myself!

I am lucky to live in a city that has good-tasting and safe tap water. I drink my water straight from the tap. In fact, I drink it room temperature straight from the tap. I'm not a big fan of ice water.

Oddly enough, I too like room temperature water, especially after it's been sitting a while. I fill my mug with water at night before I go to bed, and that's the first drink of my morning when taking my medicine. But then it's straight into the tea closet for the good stuff!
