LOL! I carried my umbrella into Petsmart and Walmart, and the rain did not hit until we were back in the car. Usually I drown getting to the car!

We can cancel our reservations until 6:00, so we are really keeping an eye on the forecast track.

Sol Raven and others down here, FYI Walmart on Sunrise Blvd, next to Sawgrass Mills, is sold out of flashlights and big batteries. They have about a million AA batteries left.

Yes - an earthquake centered near Richmond VA that rattled us as far south as Duke! Some areas even lost power! This is crazy! What next? A rain of frogs?

I just saw the news of the addition of the 5.9 earthquake. I hope everyone stays safe. Stock up - around here the dollar store always has lots of batteries/TP/water etc.. Everyone seems to forget about that store, as they hit the regular stores first.

My wife felt it. I was reading my Kindle at the time and didn't notice anything. It would take at lease a Magnitude 9.0, a three alarm fire, or sustained gunfire to get my attention when I'm reading.

The path after landfall is still way unknown - depends on the strength when it hits and the size of the cloud. Even if it stays on the coast, it will be spawning tornadoes on land.
So I'm still laying in supplies.

Yeah! It's going to stay over warm water, intensify to category 4, and then come ashore at Morehead City (latest predicted site) and travel over land into New England.
