they do get old so he may be doing you a favor. my supermarket has bulk spices available, they are much cheaper and I can get them in the amounts I want. if yours does not, see about a healthfood store or co-op in the area

Just a day or so ago, it was mid-50's F and now I am chilled to the bone! My body just can't adjust that quickly to wide swings in temperature! BRRRRRRR!!!

I believe I am now officially done with my Christmas shopping

It was particularly painless this year: the children get a book ordered from Amazon, and each adult couple an item from a fair trade craft shop I just found. My prospects for the week-end have become much nicer all of a sudden, especially since the sun has come out, after a memorable shower this morning. I got home drenched from the grocery shopping.

Now thinking about tea. I think "Brume du mont Lu" (mist over Mount Lu?), a very fragrant and delicate Chinese green tea

Congratulations! When I lived in Illinois, our town had a huge craft fair every Thanksgiving weekend. It was wonderful and I could usually find really unique gifts for everyone in the family. I really miss that. Luckily, I get so many catalogs now (currently the pile is about 2 feet high) because I order so much online that I can find some interesting gifts. I'm currently in love with redenvelope.com!
