Does anybody know if the Kindle Touch with SO will work outside the US? I. Am interested in getting it while I am on vacation in the States, but I am wondering if it will work when I get back home to Canada.

I would very much appreciate a speedy response, before my vacation time runs out...

It'll work worldwide. You may or may not be able to take advantage of the offers (some are geo restricted). But the WiFi (or 3G if you get that) will work just fine.

I asked earlier if the Kidle Touch with SO would work outside the US. I realize thatnthe offers are for US customers only. What I am interested in knowing is if the device will work outside the US. For 40$ off the price, I don't mind seeing offers which are not for me.

Thank you Koland, you answered both questions at the same time. So I think I will join the Kindle community. I will keep using my Kobo for library books, but the Kindle will probably become my main reader.

Sweet--that was worth temporarily re-subscribing to get "The Spirit Ring". One more paperback I can remove from my shelves, and one more book I get to reread.
