I need to get something to eat and drink but I am a bit worried. The Hubby is having minor surgery and the puppy is being neutered. I know I delivered both to the correct location but I am a bit anxious.

Don't you worry; they will come back to you in one piece. Couldn't you stay with the puppy during its surgery?

Nope. They don't have set times for the surgeries and I there is not enough room in the boarding area for visitors to stay. I know he will be fine but he is probably scared. He doesn't like it when we are out of the room without him so being in a kennel with strange dogs around is probably freaking him out.

We didn't realize that they would want him to spend the night at the vets. we can bring him home if we want to but I think it is better that he is there where he can be watched by professionals. That and it gives him some time to heal without worrying about his sister and it gives my Hubby a day to rest and not worry about keeping the puppy from his older sister.

I just feel guilty because he trusts us and there is no way to tell him what is happening and that he will be home soon.

Which is silly but there you have it.

Hubby is home sleeping. No problems with the removal of the cyst. He just needs to take it really easy for the next week and not play sports for about a month.

Did you give him an old shirt of yours with your smell on it, to comfort him after surgery? Or isn't that allowed? To your puppy, I mean.

hi Iridai, thanks, no I've done my research, but I have to write it up; make a book out of it. Have already a publisher, but I like to do a lot of other things, like my volunteer work on exhibitions, designing posters, inventorising....well, just need some discipline, I guess

Cooper just came home. He had his surgery earlier then they thought and the vet said she was fine releasing him. we could have kept him there overnight but that didn't feel right.

Predictably he freaked out in his crate even with the Hubby in the room. We let him out and he is lying on the floor with the main door closed. That way he cannot romp with Caya and she cannot jump him wanting to play.

It is a good thing that the Hubby is not going to be going to work next week, that means that Cooper has someone to chill with for the entire time he is suppose to be less active.

And so far today has been a Dr. Pepper and Coke day. I love my tea but when stressed need a bit more caffeine to help me calm down and I really don't like coffee.
