astra I suggest that you do what you want but hire a cleaning staff to come in and get the house in order for when she returns home. It drives me nuts when I come home from a trip only to find that the Hubby has not cleaned a darn thing. The kitchen is a mess, there is dog hair on my side of the bed (which I clean up every evening with a lint brush because I don't want my brown comforter to look blonde thanks to Cooper and his shedding), and things are generally out of order. We won'tt alk about the 15-20 presents from the dogs that are left in the yard...

So do what you want, have fun, make a mess, but clean it up before she comes home!!!!

Astra I know what its like, the last time my wife was gone for a week I didn't know what to do with myself, not to mention I would have starved if it wasn't for fast food

Ok Seriously, I think the suggestion that you get someone in to clean was a great suggestion, but not because I think you're a pig, but because your wife will love you if you have those things that no husband knows how to clean, cleaned

When my wife's away I tend to get things done that I haven't had time to get to, reformatting PC's, new tires on the car, clean out the garage, you know all those things we don't get to because we have Honey Do lists. Enjoy it!

Good morning everyone! A kiss for my blushing bride as she leaves for the weekend, a cup of Twining's 'Prince of Wales' tea for me, and some planning for the weekend activities....

Shes off to an Onsen (hot springs) for three days of sauna and soak,



... and I'll spend the next two days exploring the annual giant Motorcycle Expo in Osaka. As much as I like a nice outdoor hotspring, I get tired of the little old ladies pointing at my crotch and giggling... And there never seems to be any beautiful young ladies when I go, only 107 year old grandmas! .I don't think it's fair at all! So with the annual bike show this weekend, I know where MY preferences lie!
