On the UK Kindle store, this "series" is a single volume, published by Orbit, also called The Risen Empire (and currently £2.99, it seems). The problem is that book 2 of the split US edition is also available, published by Tor, and is marked as the sequel. There are several bad reviews complaining that it just repeats the end of the previous book...

Luckily I did my research, but in the end I didn't like the book as much as I thought I would.

I really enjoyed this one. I had to do some external research to understand what was going on since I'm not too knowledgeable about history, but it was worth doing (and I learned something!). Plus it's quite short for a Neal book. Recommended!

Thanks, I just haven't gotten around to updating it yet because I've been trying to work on my own bash script to search for the ISBN on Amazon/Kobo/B&N/Google Play/Apple Books and pull the equivalent URLs.

EDIT: Plus I figured, after the D&T removal, most people on this forum are probably not so keen on buying from Amazon anyway.
