Trying to get my DH to use any of these devices I buy is a ridiculous endeavor. He does, however, really like Alexa (Amazon Echo). But his phone is a flip, and he won't touch a tablet.

Mine was like that til a few years ago. He wanted to be texting with the grand kids and his flip phone was just too much trouble. So he finally got a iPhone. Since then he has a Nook and recently a Galaxy Tab 4 8". And he just inherited my old iPad since I bought a new iPad Air 2 at BB Black Friday deals. So there's hope yet for yours.

Now that's my hubby, but I think he'd think Echo would be a waste of money.

The only device my hubby has ever had new was his Paperwhite 1 as he drooled when mine turned up. He always gets my handoffs when I upgrade and we sell his equivalent. I have four covers for my Voyage so the one he liked the most I've not used, saving it for him. He has an iPad and a Kindle Paperwhite 2.

Of course that doesn't stop him grabbing my devices if they are closer than his

My husband has an old laptop my sister in law gave him. The only thing he uses it for is to Skype his brother an occasionally to look up something on the Internet.
