Not yet, need to look for that. I ordered some high intensity led to see if i could augment the brightness. The w1060 is already out of his case. the software for gliders is SEE YOU MOBILE, which looks a lot like FMS. If FMS runs on windows CE ARM processor it should work. z |

What about new versions of english firmware? Chinese firmware already updated to version 1.8.11. And russian firmware 1.8.9 from WITS bbs is not working. The device hangs during installation of firmware. Downloaded few times with same result. |

What about speed of internet surfing in the last ROM? Has anyone tried use Opera mobile, opera mini or UCWeb browser on this device to increase speed of internet surfing? |

I just got a Sungale Model CD700A from a friend, and I am Trying to figure out how to use it. I downloaded some epub books from The Novel Network, and am using Calibre software to change it to txt format. I haven't been able to download anything from the regular ebook stores that will download. The txt format seems to be a problem. Any suggestions?
I love the ereader, and would like to be able to get some James patterson and Kathy Reichs books. I am very new to this, so be gentle with me. Thanks, Ginny

@gramdale: First of all, welcome. You'll find plenty of helpful people here.
This particular topic is about the Witstech A81/A81E aka W1060. I didn't check but there may be an area for Sungale devices. You can find a user manual for the CD700A at http://www.myalphadigital.com/down/m...700A-UM-EN.pdf in case you didn't get one from your friend. It indicates you just load the txt file and then browse to it with the reading app built into the device (page 16). I don't have the device so I'm not much more help beyond that, sorry. |
