It is more than just searching. I change the font size when reading under different conditions and expect the content to reflow. That won't happen with a screen capture. OCR is unreliable without proofing, which takes time and effort, so I don't consider that as a viable option for DRM removal either.

Stricto sensu, piracy is what the 'contract' between you and the seller tells you it is. Or, if it doesn't tell you. Then it's what it doesn't tell you you can do that is piracy.

However, I agree with you, 100%.
Keep to yourself what you've bought for yourself and that's all right (for me at least).
