Nothing for the Voyage so I don't know what it is, or if it just other bug fixes. Anyone tried? I don't have a new PW to test on.

I received a similar email to my feedback requesting the dots be brought back.

I never understood what each dot stood for. Yes I understand they some how show the length of the book, I personally like the percentage completed.

Who cares what each dot stands for? The point is, if I haven't STARTED a book yet, and I'm trying to decide what to read next, I might want to know the relative lengths of them. Am I in the mood for a shorter work, or something quite long?

Yes, the percentage finished is useful after you've started reading. The dots give you info before you start.

That don't work most of my Dots show I have read .... Part if not ALL the Book. When I Havent! Same as this new % WOW must be a Fast reader when they say 100% I just DL the book!

It shouldn't be that way .... mine only show up as 100% read, or partially read, when I'm sharing my account with my mother, and SHE has read a book already. (Or vice versa, when she downloads a book that I have already read.)

Well I don't share with any one. Dots have been like that since my 1st K3... Now the % are just as bad. I wish they Not do anything! Its quite annoying. I find it best to put them on my TBR file take them out to read them when finished put them in the Authors file.

My biggest complaint is that if you use list view on the homepage, the font is so tiny and light that I can barely see the titles.

I also really miss the dots - both for how long each book is and for how much of it I've read. The percentage read is shown but again, it's so light and tiny I can't really see it.

I found the Brighter the light in the List view the better I can see. At least so I can pick a book to read. Wish we could adjust it or at least it would match what I pick when reading a book.

The best thing about that UI update is that personal documents no longer have PERSONAL across the bottom and you can see more of the cover.

I really do not care what the size of the book is if I want to read it I do. I am a scanner I will read the first chapter or the lead in then I will read the last chapter of the book and scan the chapter in between, before read the whole book. It is something that I was taught to do in reading classes I got in school and college. It first lets me decide if I want to read it, then second it gives me some reference to how fast I can read it and get the information I need. As a computer engineer, and hardware engineer I needed information as fast as I could get it. And most of the time I did not have time to read the whole book or even chapter.
Now that I am retired I can take my time to read what I want to and what I enjoy reading. I my stress levels are so much better.

I would NEVER read or skim the last chapter of a book early!! Anathema! Not with fiction, anyway. But I do hold with [100 minus your-age] as the number of pages at which one can decide to chuck a book. Actually, I don't usually pay attention to that, but decide in the first chapter or two. Or, if I've managed to read 5-6 chapters, but still don't really care about the lead characters, I might chuch the book.

Since I read several books per week, while working full time, I vary what I wish to read. In between my chosen series of books, I might pick up one of the freebies that I've downloaded. I like to see how long it is before I start. For books that I *know* I want, the length isn't important. But for total unknowns -- it can matter.

I'm a computer programmer too, and I read very fast. But I still like to know how long an unknown book is. The fact that amazon may be re-instating the dots tells me that a lot of people feel this way, and have complained.
