It isn't impossible they might beat the odds though too. Though it may seem unlikely. Former Pres. Jimmy Carter (back when he was in the Navy) had to do something of the same sort and last I heard he's still with us. It's possible that there wasn't as much radiation as in the present case, but prayers for them can't hurt either I would think.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of RWood. I have enjoyed his work in the past, and I hope that it is enjoyed by members of this community for many years to come. He will not be forgotten here.

I know when a family member is sick, the whole family suffers. We're going through a roller-coaster as well. It's hard to stay strong.
