Just 1 more day to July! I hope they will improve the odds of getting better codes too, that is, if there is a July contest. The highest I ever got was only a 55% I'd love to get a bundle set if I can get my hand on a 75%!

I agree. The last contest was horrible, hope the next one is way better.

Question, if a book is available for pre-order, say July 01, since it's now July 01 in say, India, what time does a pre-order become available? Is it still dependant on US time?

They are always available at 11pm CST for me.

Yeap. It usually becomes available at midnight EST, which is at noon here. It will be at 1pm when fall starts.

It seems Kobo India has got it's AUD 3 cents sale on again!!!!

This time it's:
Imprint: MysteriousPress.com/Open Road

The 3 cent author is Lawrence Block. (Wasn't he 3 cents on the previous sale? Perhaps all of these authors are still at rock bottom prices and the price didn't go back up like all the others did?)

The 5 cent authors appear to be childrens or young adult mysteries.

The 83 cent mysteries include authors who are in the public domain and those who are not in the public domain eg Arthur Conan Doyle, Louis Joseph Vance, Anne Perry.

And don't forget they're all discountable

I've posted this info here because I would be interested to know if anyone finds anymore publishers with the 3 cent (ish) sale. Please post.

edit: small problem india doesn't accept paypal and i don't fancy linking a credit card up for 2p purchases. Any ideas from frequent flyer club members?

Go to Australia and buy a gift card for yourself

you can buy a egift card and use it in the India store, that is what I do.
The egift card is not available in all countries, India being one of them, so I bought my in New Zealand, and before I complete the purchase, in the checkout page I change the country and so the gift card is created in rupees, so I only have one conversion rate between currencies when I buy the gift card not with every purchase. I do this because I usually buy in the india store, but you can try for other countries, to see if it works for you

thanks for the help, im at the checkout page but when i change back to india so its in rupees it brings up an error. Can i buy it in nz dollars still and redeem it in the india store? thanks again tempest.de

I just did this and also got the error, so I purchased the gift card in Australian dollars.

When I applied the card to my Indian account, the gift card amount was automatically converted to rupees.

GB users of the Kobo India 3 cent sale BEWARE.....

Paul will verify this, but I seem to recall that you will be slugged 1 pound or so VAT for your 1 penny purchase.

So you do need to use the gift card method to purchase these very very cheap India books.
