About to run to meet my the best of the best 2/3s. Need some energy boost if I don't want to be run over by a car.

I'm home ! Finally ! The trip home should have taken me 3 hours, but because the train was delayed and I missed my second train and then the tram didn't show up ... it took me 5 hours and a half

The conference was pretty interesting and I've met some nice new people. But it was sooooo tiring. I'm also having a rough time adapting to Flemish again. I spoke nothing but English for 2 days straight, and I actually said 'thank you' to the train conductor.

BTW don't forget your Kindle!
Well, I didn't get the time to wander around and visit Leidenschendam or other nearby places. But we did go to a charming little restaurant in Den Haag

You guys actually managed to fill 5 pages with posts in 2 days ... I'm not going to read through all of them, I'll just jump right into the conversation again. I'm guessing the current topic of discussion is ... tea

I'm glad you got home o.k., Iridal!

Water in my cup. I've got a terrible headache and I'll be off to bed in a minute. The good news? My mom just called to say that my Sony PRS-350 arrived (I had it sent to her house, as I'll be visiting soon!)

If not for you, winter would have no spring
I couldn't hear the robins sing
I just wouldn't have a clue
Anyway it wouldn't ring true if not for you
If not for you, if not for you.

Another good morning! Happy to be alive! Starting today with NBT's Keemun and a bowl of muesli, but I'm a wee bit worried about this keemun... It's really rather thin... Not much aroma, shallow taste, not something to write home about.

White water rapids can be frightening the first time out! What she didn't realize was that the water was very shallow. If she stood up outside the boat, the water would have 'almost' reached her knee!

P.S. Stitchawl, in one of your posts you have mentioned you like Marks & Spencer black tea. TBH I never thought to check what they have {SNIP}
Do you know anything about them?
I really don't, but I think I'd love to try that extra strong breakfast tea!

It's my belief that talking about exercising is almost as effective as actually doing it. At least, I hope so.

My NBT's keemun has cooled down to the point where I can take large mouthfuls, guzzling it down. That's usually a good taste test for me. Unfortunately, this tea doesn't pass. Sorry NBT... no keemun from you any more.

If you are looking for mellow Pu-Erhs I would recommend the ones from Rishi Tea. I have had 6 of their offerings so far and only one (the Shu Pu-Erh TuoCha Vintage Blend, is really earthy. All of the others have been very mellow. Pleasurable but nothing that I find to be too special.

I have found I prefer the more earthy Pu-Erhs, like the one from Tea Gschwendner.
Very helpful and quite interesting. Thank you ProfCrash. In the matter of pursuing the Pu-Erhs, I am still planning my attack.

I think the ratio is 2:1, but just to be sure, I think about it one extra time.

I'm trying out the Assam Moran BOP that I received from NBT. I don't smell anything, and I can't taste anything. It is, however, a lovely color...

And a good morning to you, Stichawl. I agree with you about the thinking and the joy of being alive.
I've bought myself a Kettle Bell 8 kg and am thinking hard how to use it.
Just in case: I also bike hard for an hour 4x per week and on the days I don't bike I take a long hike.

Good morning to you Beppe. You always make me smile, when I read your flowery description of the preparation of food.

Thanks guys, it's really good to be home

The selection of tea at the conference wasn't that good, and I was the only one who drank tea instead of coffee. So that's another reason I'm glad to be home again.

First cup of Jasmine green tea.
