I managed to get all I needed for five days of vacation at Christmas into my carry on and brought home two new blazers, a pair of fleece pants, a new sweater, and 6 new turtlenecks.

It's probably too late for this because you are already all packed, but I remember my mom having little bottles that she'd fill with her shampoo and conditioner and that when she'd go away somewhere for a few days, so that she wouldn't have to lug big bottles with her. Maybe if you have a small bottle around the house (like the kind that complimentary bottles of shampoo come in) you could try that. I tend to go to the drugstore and get the travel versions of things when I go on a trip... and then lose them or forget to pack them. It always happens.

I always have the big suitcase and my husband just a tiny one. No less than 5 pairs of shoes for a week of course......Well, you see, I can understand your packing.
Have a nice time in Leidschendam and try to go to Haarlem if you can; such a beautiful town with a nice historic center and Frans Hals museum.enjoy yourself at the conference and take care.
BTW don't forget your Kindle!

hehehe I am onto a couple of pots of Bancha.

I wear one pair and bring a second. The only time I think about a third is if I have to wear a dress then I bring a pair of nice wedges. Either my training pair for the wedding or the ones I wore at my wedding.

Yes, I wore wedges at my wedding. I don't own a pair of heels and my Mom told me I couldn't wear white Indoor Soccer shoes even if I was the bride.
