Not that it should matter much. The original book sold so few copies, because people were scared away by the original description--it mentioned bondage, and I suppose everyone assumed it would be a whips, chains and dungeons kind of story (which it isn't) and avoided it. Make no mistake: This is a noir detective story.

Patience, Grasshopper (or you might chafe those wrists and ankles). Ebook production is this week, so, I'm thinking Friday/Saturday on my site, and the beginning of next week on Amazon, B&N and Smashwords.

Edit: Book will be delayed, as I've gotten some razzes about the cover, and I'm going to take another look at it.

Wow. Put in a giant Anaconda that the cannibals worship as a God and I will definitely read it and go see the movie.

Okay, Despite Our Shadows is out. Now I'll have to give some thought as to what I want to do next. I've had so few sales of anything this summer that I'm not sure whether a new writing project is even worth the trouble. Maybe later. Like, 2012... 2013...

I just finished the first draft of my third novel. It is a science fiction parody of fantasy adventure genre novels and is in the same series as my previous two books. This one is geared toward Young Adults and has a younger protagonist. The first two are suitable for Young Adults but are longer and contain more Pratchett-like satire. Getting very good reviews on those so far on Amazon.com and I'm hoping this minor deviation for YA readers won't hurt the momentum.

By David Kitson. At least that's where I got my inspiration. I hope there's no copyright infringement going on between my story and his book. It's like 7 pages long so far and I have like 4 chapters. I call it Killer Protocol.

Copyright Infringement? Not all that likely. There's a pretty open license at the end of the book which probably covers you -

Turing Evolved is released under CC license with some rights reserved so it's pretty open.

Let me know when you're done - I'd be interested in reading it -

THANK YOU! It's a short book but it's still separated into chapters to separated the parts(Reason some chapters would be longer than others.) I'm slowly working on it and I'd like to maybe get it published.

I am currently beginning the 2nd novel in a 4-novel series about succubi

I came across the Jewish folklore about Lilith, the supposed "first wife" of Adam and I was so intrigued that I decided to create my own little world based off that idea! Of course, because one must write for the times I made it a bit more contemporary and added a hefty helping of romance in there! It's all-consuming right now!
