Actually, I've never ordered the chicken sandwich at Whataburger. I was just looking for a Texas-centric example, since Netflix didn't work.

Hi guys,

Thank you all for your help. In the end, I´ve chosen PW. As a first ereader I think it will be ok, now I have to discover all it´s functionality and visit Kindle forums on mobileread.

Amazon is a business, there for the purpose of making money, and probably also to build power. That's what businesses do. That's what makes a capitalist economy work.

Another thing that makes things work is competition and Amazon, as time goes by, has less and less competition and that worries me. So far they're still excellent from my point of view. But I see a few cracks forming in their excellence. It worries me. I think they need more competition.

Still, I'm glad they're here. I'm glad they've made my life easier. I hope they stick around for a long time.

And no, I don't think they need my money more than I do. I need their products and services and that's why they get my money.

A PW is not a bad piece of hardware. With care it can easily last many years. Do yourself a favor and get an inexpensive cover for it. Even cheap aftermarket covers allow auto wake up / sleep by simply opening or closing the cover.

All ereader screens are fragile compared to most phones or tablets. At the bare minimum when transporting them the screen needs to be protected from impact and scratches. Especially your PW with plastic on top of the screen.

You have me intrigued as I love a good burger, so I wanted to see what was different about them. But, most of their site won't load. Does it beat this?

But if they DID become odious, $20 doesn't seem like a prohibitive price in my mind to get rid of them.

I'd be infuriated though if the the Alexa products came with built in ads. It all depends on context, I guess.

When I had a Kindle, most of the ads were for women's clothing. As a guy, that was ... less than useful. I also got some ads for video games and Omaha steaks. It got annoying enough that I complained to Amazon, and they removed the ads for free.

In that case, in answer to your earlier question Whataburger picks what to put on your burger. For a burger like your link, you need to go to Fuddruckers, where you have your choice of toppings. I do what I call the ultimate cheeseburger, all the cheeses plus bacon and grilled onion. You can also put as much lettuce, tomato, raw onion and Pico de gallo on your burger. They have 2 different cheese sauces and a french fry dip for their fries.
