I hope the prevalence of those screens means that Amazon is ordering them too, and just taking longer to design and release a good firmware.

Given Amazon's reluctance to make larger screen readers after the disaster they had with the DX, I would say a 7.8" Kindle is out. If Amazon does try a larger screen I would think they'd go with 6.8".

Just for your information some of us have always had bad eyesight.
Celebrating 30 years of bifocals here. (21 when I got my first pair).
That being said, yep people with better vision might could tell the difference.

I've compared my H2O to an 800x600 Pearl 6" Reader and the difference was amazing.

I've seen my H2O in comparison to a PW3 and the PW3 did not look any sharper. So I don't think the difference is noticeable and 35dpi difference is irrelevant.

Well now on tablets, there is a significant difference between an old Fire and a newer Galaxy.

and
Veteran's Day (November 11 - observed this year on November 10)

Ironically, with politically influenced Holiday calendars and all, the "Day that will live in infamy" has never made the cut to become even a note on the Federal Calendar.
