I can do artificial sweeteners. I'm too sensitive to them. It's all regular stuff for me.

Apparently a lot of people didn't, since they decided to change the name rather than just say its new and improved Coke Zero. (and it definitely is improved over the old Coke Zero. 'Tastes much more like regular Coke now)

Coca-Cola. I'll usually have a lemonade in preference to Pepsi-Cola, when Coca-Cola isn't available.

For me it's the opposite. With my diabetes regular sugar is a no no. If I am very low and need a quick boost back towards normal then I may have some regular soda in a pinch. Like the other week. I was out and about and had run short of the fruit bars I carry when I go out. My blood sugar was 52. Way too low. So I bought a bottle of regular coke and drank a little bit.

'Dandelion and Burdock' is better than either Coke or Pepsi. Unfortunately I cannot get it in the Philippines.

I must admit that I'm partial to Fentiman's 'botanically brewed' Lemon Shandy. but it's hard to find.
Hmm... this has prompted me to go and look for a stockist near me!

[Edit: Typical. Nearest and cheapest is Amazon!]

Mom loves regular Pepsi. Yuck. Of course she won't eat sugar free anymore. Never one to follow the rules.
Mom loves her sweets she refuses to give them up. For the most part her a1c is under control.

When she was in the nursing home she cried for a soda but they had her on a strict diet for diabetes. Luckily she was only in there three days. I had no peace during those days.

And in some places in Hawaii we're blessed with the best tap water on the planet. Volcanic dyke water, no treatment or filtration needed.

It can be a difficult thing to control. That bottle of regular coke lasted me a bit as I just drank a small bit as needed for lows. Been more active than I usually am due to moving between apts. so I've had more lows than I normally do. Coke keeps its fizz longer than Pepsi I think. I did drink a lot of Pepsi (in the old glass bottles) when I was a kid. Not sure they even bottle in those bottles any more.

I believe they also do sasparella (although they labelled it root beer) and dandelion and burdock, or used to.

They also changed the label design on the bottle. The new bottles are just hitting the shelves now, in my neighborhood. As a long-time Coke Zero drinker, it's going to take me a long time getting used to it.

Didn't they also market a clear Coke drink for a while, or was that Pepsi. As I recall that one didn't do well for whatever reason.
