ok I cooked on the ozpig and it was actually edible - which is pretty much a first for my cooking - Salmon steaks with stirfry veg and noodles - and I didn't even set fire to the house or anything

The only thing that kept this encounter from being like the last one was that the idiot truck driver decided to do this u-turn just beyond an on-ramp (to highway 71), so I was going slower than the last time, and therefore was able to stop.

Would have been the same damn story if I'd been going 70 like the last time. Seriously, the truck drivers in this state must be completely insane.

Sorry .... was that directed at me?? I'm in one piece, thanks. I was luckier in this instance in that I was going much slower (having just turned onto 71 from 281, and therefore, only going about 35-40 on the onramp), so I could actually stop in time.
