Sorry sugar! I know a little girl whose name is Marcy (with a seee sound, not a kay sound) so it just didn't look right that way. Is that how we usually spell it though? Marcy? More {{{huggs}}} for the cold. (I'm not sure if hugs are all that comfortable though, what with my metal armor and all....)

Aww! We haven't had an MR romance yet (unless you count Am and the Yeti: but they are already married). Here's hoping!

Just reading about this. My sympathies are with you. When I had mine out, they gave me Codeine, which it turned out I was supremely allergic to, and which caused me to go into anaphactic shock. So much fun.

Yes, please be careful with regard to dry socket. It is not a good thing because it keeps the gum from healing properly over the site and can leave you with some serious long term nerve pain.

Hope you feel better very soon.

(Which reminds me, the oral surgeon who removed my wisdom teeth was arrested many years later .... 20 or so years as I recall .... for molesting his patients while they were under anesthesia. That just made me feel all sorts of wonderful. )

It is, but the universe is ultimately balanced. For every lonely person which a lot to give, there is at least one complete psychotic who shouldn't be allowed out in public. (She said, looking in the mirror.)

Trying to decide whether to cuss or be happy. Day before yesterday I got an academic warning from student services, telling me my Speech grade was below a C average. Since I only had two marks that were below 100, I was a little confused, but they assured me that my grade was in the danger zone. Tonight I find a message from my instructor telling me that they made a mistake and factored in a pretest grade that they shouldn't have, and I have an average of 95 for the class.
I have spent two days trying to figure out what on earth I was going to do to get this thrice cursed grade up, only to find out I worried for nothing...

When I went back to college to get my El Ed Degree, I took a class where the instructor gave me a final grade of A-. I was livid because I had not scored anything less than a 95% in anything that I turned in or on any exams. When I received the grade sheet, I called several times and left messages, but she never returned my call and the university refused to do anything about it. I would have had a perfect 4.0 average in all my courses if it had not been for that class. Over 10 years later and I'm stilled ticked about it. I really have got to learn to let things go.

When I went to my 40th High School reunion, one of the guys there went on and on all night long about how he was "cheated" out of being valedictorian. Forty years later and he's still seriously pissed off about that.

Sometimes it's a good thing to be sixth .... much less pressure.
