It may be just me, or a visual effect, but the right edge/side looks lighter then the rest of the screen.

The Forma is using a plastic backed screen at 8".

The Libra 2 is using a glass backed screen at 7".

The Libra 2 screen is heavier enough to make it heavier then the Forma.

I prefer to swipe then to tap. When I get my Libra 2, I'll continue swiping.

With my H2O, I use the front light at a setting of 4. I'll have to see what setting on the Libra 2 compares to 4 on the H2O.

I took another look at the photo with all the different brightness settings on my laptop. I cannot see the right side being lighter then the left. The screen looks even to me.

Wow Josieb that looks really nice. Happy for you! I see no green tint. Is that so or is it just this particular lighting condition? Would love to see photo of dark mode when/if you have time.

So I read posts like this and file away the thought 'the Libra has sucky buttons', but later when I mention that as something I have read I am told the only posts complaining about Libra buttons are mine

Very pleased for you Josie. I might have gone for the Libra 2 except for the recessed screen and the fact that I've got used to an 8 inch screen. Enjoy your Kobo 😊.

Interesting. Looking at the colors using PC software, there are fluctuations. Maybe your laptop needs to be calibrated.

However, it is the opposite of what I thought; the right side is darker, especially the upper half. Could just be the photo/camera.

Note that this is all a nitpick. The screen looks very good to me and I would be very happy with it.

Here’s Dark Mode. It’s slightly blacker in real life.
