Son, back in the good old days, when men were men, we wrote tight code. Never crashed, and if it did, we knew how to put patches in through the front panel. Today's namby pamby users want everything handed to them on a widget. I still do my html editing in the raw, and make my own images bit by bit in a hex editor. Reminiscing about the frontier days in computing, and getting teary eyed. Signed: Gramps.

I believe scottjl is older than you.

Lol.. That's ok, you don't know much about debate or references.. And I'd guess even less about code or computers.

But you do like to hear yourself talk..

I, for one, am glad you moved this thread to the LLounge. I never would have seen it otherwise - I don't have an iPad, and don't really care to.

But the first post was priceless, even though most everybody wandered off-topic.

I think my Ford Focus station-wagon (stick shift!) is the perfect truck, as I can carry two whole hogs with the back seats down -- if the road is really smooth...

I think itʻs very appropriate that youʻre located in Switzerland. For some reason, tonight, on this particular thread, it struck me as perfect.

i've never tried the honda civic, and there is even a hybrid version .... that should be 'good' - though it'll never beat the Prius .....
