You got lucky. Some say it depends of the unit you got, there are not all the same. Not sure about that. My wife and daughter both have a Libra H2O and the screen is a bit green like mine.

I have more than 7000 items on my readers, and some 150 collections. When scrolling through lists the buttons are the only way for me to not slip eventually and open a book instead of turning a page. Avowedly, I have severely arthritic hands that are not that precise.

Yes, I know. But I've heard that comment before, from other people and not as a joke, when I've talked about fingerprints. Perhaps it's natural for dry-skinned people to think so and I don't bother feeling offended; I know perfectly well dirty hands are not the cause. It may be I'm somewhat obsessive about fingerprints on my ereaders (funnily enough, they don't bother me so much on my phone), but I do see them and they do interfere with my reading pleasure.

Just as visible on original Aura HD H2O. IR makes no difference to touching the screen. Though someone else in the family has mine now.

I saw no difference with the only IR-touch ereader I've owned. The fingerprints showed up nice and big just the same.

I dug out my old Aura H2O. Touching the screen left fingerprints as or more easily than on my Sage. Both of them have an antiglare layer which is what you are actually touching.

In theory, if you have the muscle control, you could use either the IR or capacitive touch screen without actually touching it and so not leave fingerprints but those people are definitely rara avis.

It may depend on how you hold your ereader. I prefer to hold it with only one hand. That’s why weight is important to me.
