I just did! I bought a unlocked fire phone which I will use as an tiny fire tablet. hey at 4.7 inches it works for me and it renews my prime for a year! Worth the net $100.00 price!

I'm thinking of doing that. My Prime is up Dec 23rd and I was going to buy a Moto E that was $100. This is a better deal.

I did the same thing. $100 for a 32GB Fire "iPod touch" with superior hardware? It's a no-brainer.

Not sure if you're aware of this, but Amazon tacks new Prime memberships onto the end of your current one. That way, you lose nothing. For me, I just got two more Prime memberships (Kindle-Prime promo, Fire Phone) and they'll be tacked onto my current one. I'm now good for another two years.

I have to wait till I get the money. My birthday money I should have had but it turns out my mother's is waiting on her check which seems to be lost so I just have to wait till it all works out.

Does the prime renew on the account you buy it from or does it renew on the account the phone is registered to. So if someone bought it as a gift would they get the prime or would the person getting the gift?

Awesome I can buy it on my account then register it on his for a day so the prime will go on his account instead of mine. Makes it so much easier as long as its full prime which means you can share free shipping with 4 others.
