I read on a Kindle, so most of my ebooks are .azw or .mobi. I do have apps/software on my tablets and computer that can read epub, but I rarely use them.

When I read on my phone, I read in ePub; usually in Aldiko, but occasionally on the Nook App (which isn't bad, but I like being able to use the volume rocker to turn pages). When I read on my PRS-505, since I like justified text, I read in LRF.

Just to add fuel to the fire, RTF, DOC, TXT, PDF, WEV are not eBook formats and LIT, FB2, REB, KF8 have been left off the list.

People were reading TXT eBooks a long time before ePub et al even existed. It was the default format for Gutenberg books, and unless this has changed in the last few years, they still require an 80 column wrapped TXT version to be submitted. |

If it was just what I liked, then we'd not have Mobipocket, KF8, PDF, PDB. Last edited by JSWolf; 03-16-2012 at 03:19 PM. |

My ebooks are almost entirely from the public library, where Epub isn't quite always available, so a few books here and there are PDF's.
