I'm happy to say my pre-orders are back on my "Manage My Kindle" page w/ the original date/purchase info of 20 Jun. I'm also glad they're honoring the free purchase price for those who ordered early even if we have to wait. Guess I'll slow my reading down on the Dark Tower series lol (the Last Apprentice series is next... Hopefully!!)

Aw, thank you!! Apparently I have shingles [no poxes though] and can expect to feel awful for a while. Having never had chicken pox I am not sure how this is possible, but apparently I get to be special. Maybe if the government people will offer me unlimited books I will let them put me in that glass box they keep mentioning.

Is Amazon pulling a fast one? As I recall there were 10 Last Apprentice books on pre-order that were supposed to come out on Aug. 2nd and then were pushed back to March of 2012, but now when I look at my "Pre-Order"area of my Kindle ebooks I count only 5 in the list.

I still see 10 on my pre-orders. I'm a bit skeptical about ever seeing them because of the distinct possibility that the seller, HarperCollins, will "pull a fast one." Call Kindle CS and see if they can resolve the problem.

Yeah, I've kind of lost hope on at least one Foxfire volume (looks like they will remain paper only, rather than honor the pre-order price) and the Belgariad volume ever showing up, too.

Mine show 10 books in the series, after I click the "View More Open Digital Orders."

They don't show all of them on the first page on mine.

Thanks for the tip DuskyRose. I wonder why the main pre-order page doesn't show all of them now. They were all visible at first when I put them on Pre-Order. I thought for a bit maybe they had vanished but when I expand the "Open Orders" from 30 days to last 6 months the 'missing books' show up again. Odd.

I've been flipping my view from 30 days to 6 months so often (glancing back at those particular books), I didn't consider that might be the problem. It goes by the date you actually placed the pre-order...mine was June 20th. There also could be a "page 2" at the bottom of the page which would hide a few pre-ordered books.

Actually I pre-ordered them all on the same day (June 21st shortly before they removed them as free pre-orders) so that shouldn't be it and there is no page 2 on the page I was looking at. I had to go to Open Digital Orders and expand to the six month view to find them. I can't figure out why some do show and others don't unless it's expanded.

I believe it now only shows the last 30 days of orders without expanding them.
