So continuing the poetry corner we have going here.
Then sing, ye birds, sing, sing a joyous song! And let the young lambs bound As to the tabor's sound! We in thought will join your throng, Ye that pipe and ye that play, Ye that through your hearts to-day Feel the gladness of the May! |

And to continue in poetical mode: I have seen them gentle, tame, and meek, That now are wild and do not remember That sometime they put themself in danger To take bread at my hand; and now they range, Busily seeking with a continual change. |

A tad earlier, even, but a very close relationship, in a way, as in the following:
Whoso list to hunt, I know where is an hind, But as for me, helas! I may no more. The vain travail hath worried me so sore, I am of them that furthest come behind. Yet may I by no means, my worried mind Draw from the deer; but as she fleeth afore Fainting I follow. I leave off therefore, Since in a net I seek to hold the wind. I think the name of the poet will suffice, especially since his poems are all known by their first lines. |

Here's the rest of the sonnet quoted above and it contains a major historical hint:
Who list her hunt, I put him out of doubt, As well as I, may spend his time in vain; And graven in diamonds in letters plain There is written, her fair neck round about, "Noli me tangere, for Caesar's I am, And wild for to hold, though I seem tame." |

On tap? Some draught Guinness!
![]() For the quiz? "Nobody heard him, the dead man, But still he lay moaning: I was much further out than you thought" One of my all time favorites (still poetry) - either name the poet, or fill in the next line, or both! |

More (again - same last line to fill in)
"Oh, no no no, it was too cold always (Still the dead one lay moaning) I was much too far out all my life" Spoiler:
