I am glad it works as you wanted! I did not necessarily want to imply that you have to do the adjustments yourself. One point that is sure is that the nickle-koreader and koreader-nickel loops have to be modified. Currently, when you open restart_nickel.png in such a loop, the system will be set into an unstable state. The same will happen if you start nickel by "start nickel," but this later is only a problem during the current phase, because finally the test script will replace the script of "start nickel." I see whether I have a chance to look into it this night.

I have a problem with the restart nickel when I load books.
It didn't process the books and they library is empty after, or it process the book but freeze the home screen tile, when I open nickel it go back to normal.

How do you load books? Do you connect to the pc from within nickel and simply copy the books to the device? Or do you use calibre? The current test setting was not intended for full range usage. But you are right we should test it in real life usage before proceeding. You would have to copy start_nickel_for_restart.sh into /adds/kbmenu/scripts (on the system padrtition), and then start it by selecting: scripts > start_nickel_for_restart.sh. Is this easy for you? Or shall I uplaod a KoboRoot.tgz?
Before that testing, check your database. It would lead to wrong test results, if you already start with a corrupt database.

The file start_nickel_for_restart.sh is in already in /adds/kbmenu_user/scripts, and I start it from scripts > start_nickel_for_restart.sh.

EDIT: The database is ok.

EDIT2: If I load books from nickel it work okay, the problem is when i load book in start_nickel_for_restart.sh.

Currently the script is in /mnt/onboard/.adds/kbmenu_user/scripts, but it should go to /adds/kbmenu/scripts (on the system padrtition). I will upload a KoboRoot.tgz in a minute.

Edit: I have uploaded the KoboRoot.tgz. May be you should delete the start_nickel_for_restart.sh from /mnt/onboard/.adds/kbmenu_user/scripts (= .adds\kbmenu_user\scripts when connecting from Window by usb); in order to prevent that you run it by mistake.

I uploaded it to the previous post. After installing the additional script with this KoboRoot.tgz, start nickel by selecting "scripts" > "start_nickel_for_restart.sh". I think than it should work ok also for loading books.

I tried now myself to copy a new book onto the reader. It worked for me. Did you start nickel with the script from the new location ("scripts"; not "user scripts").

I think that was my problem "user scripts", now it's okay.

Good! Maybe it is better you do some real life testing for some time before we proceed. Do not forget: If you start nickel with another script than start_nickel_for_restart.sh, do not open restart_nickel.png. Everything else should work.

Some things work different on different device models. That the old night mode works on Touch does not mean that it work on H2O. Apart from showing only the half side, what happens when you exit back to KSM? Is there a screen rotation, or does this work correctly?
Did you try to install gtalusan's version anew? Maybe when you installed it the first time there where some other problems (like the KSM patch not being installed completely, or something like that).
