Elric and Conan are both messy for the same reasons. The short stories were written and published out of (internal, chronological) order.
With Elric, in the 1970's, Acer/Daw published a six paperback series where Moorcock reorganized and reworked the stories to go in chronological order.
Then in 2008, he decided to republish the stories as they were originally written and published, out of (internal) chronological order. Those titles are:

Incidentally, on the new Elric series, I wish they had used Robert Gould's art on all of them. That's Elric to me. The Michael Whelan Elric always seemed too muscular and typically heroic.

Three JK Rowling "Hogwarts Library" books, which are tie-ins to the Harry Potter series, and are usually mentioned (or even essential elements) in the main seven books, have dropped in price right now, both in the US and the UK.

I'm partial to the Whelan depiction myself, Gould's style doesn't click with me. |

Project Hail Mary is $6.99 at Amazon US. Not *that* great of a deal, but a fairly new release and the lowest it's been.
(Insert confused rant related to the whispersync upgrade making this either about $6.50 or $15.50 cheaper than the audible version alone, depending on if you subscribe to Audible Premium Plus here) |

Perhaps, we'll see by the start of September or so.
But it's rather abrupt and also cheaper than The Martian or Artemis. |

I'd argue that a blockbuster-ish ebook around that point is near the long-term sweet spot once you've gotten $14.99 from all the people who really want it, especially if Amazon's cut is less for prices between $2.99 and $9.99 like I seem to remember
