In my environment, the stylus problem happens only on Neo and only when reading PDF. When reading ePub the stylus works fine. |

1. Our very first version of M96, which has been offered in summer 2014 (with small stylus) and (AFAIK) current M96 "Universe" of Artatech 2. Our a little bit more expensive current version (sold with big stylus and supports eraser of this stylus and last generation 85Hz screens). Actually I have currently sample devices with second PCB/digitizer version only in our lab and thought they were 100% compatible with the first. Looks like not 100%. I am going to prepare tomorrow new update for M96 users, which fixes this problem in Neo. @eb00ker: Regarding speed of new update - I did not noticed any slowdown of M96 in my environment. Which apps work slower on your device after update? or is it general slowdown? @Sweetpea: sure, I will post this list a little bit later. |

another example on a different app: the "Xodo PDF Reader & Annotator" shows on my device the same sluggish behavior as the ADW.Launcher. e.g.: if you attempt to flip through pages of PDFs (native, small ones) while dragging the stylus across the screen. before the update I didn't notice any of this. can you fix this ? ![]() Last edited by eb00ker; 01-23-2015 at 07:44 AM. |

About last FW for T68:
User's fonts for OReader must be in: "adobe/resources/fonts" on sdcard (not extsd). Last edited by zl_tsanev; 01-23-2015 at 02:12 PM. |

The latest ROM seems to bee faster & better looking (contrast) than before. Screen refreshes are faster as well as leaving behind less artifacts.
I experienced a few random reboots, even though it was a clean install with factory reset. Fearing it might be due to the Performance governor in use, with constant max CPU, I've changed the CPU governor to OnDemand. So good so far. I don't use the inbuilt PDF readers, so not sure about the Neo reader bug. Jp |

BUgs with contrast adjustment
Hi, I love the option of higher contrast in M96. Text looks much better.
Unfortunately, there are bugs that make it unusable at this stage. I use other application for PDF reading and note taking, which have more functionality than in build ones (I use ezPDF reader and Papyrus), in both, I can increase contrast. BUT in high contrast and A2 mode, i cannot scribble neither highlight and performance is sluggish in high contrast and quality first, when i start to scribble and highlight, large parts of page refresh into low contrast then back to high contrast making it very bad experience. I also couldn't go to Android setting as after this last update, when I try to go there, i get a message System UI has stopped working.... Could you please address those issues in the next update? ![]() Or does anyone know how to get rid of this performance? |

I did a full wipe (as I usually do) & have no problems with using a PDF already optimized in landscape mode with briss & k2pdfopt in Moon+. Don't use scribble/highlight function much, not sure. Will try ezPDF & let you know.
No issues in going to Android settings either. Jp |

I have an M96, bought from the ereader-store.de at the end of December.
Just did the update. There's a bug with the Neo Reader app. I only tested with pdfs so far. The highlighting doesn't work anymore and as soon as I tap with the stylus on the screen, I the "home" button stops working and I cannot open the settings (of NeoReader). I have to quit the app, reopen it to access the settings. Is there a way to downgrade to the previous version? |
