Thanks Montsmags I knew that already but perhaps the Apple haters can use that function to ignore all Apple threads.

The thing that is bothering me the most though, is that many people don't realize, that just because someone is famous, doesn't make them any less (or more, for that matter) human. Steve Jobs is actually a person too. Yes really! Flesh and blood, he even has feelings too.
So.... take it easy with the personal attacks and slander people! No-one is forcing you to buy anything.

But my guess if that Apple will again be forced to implement a DRM scheme. If we're lucky it will go away after five years or so, like the iTunes music DRM scheme did.
Fingers crossed! All I've been reading seems to be pointing at a relationship between Rupert Murdoch owned publishing houses. This does not bode well for the DRM-free world ...

Thanks, Neko. You're a treasure.

I should add that my earlier post pointing out the ignore features were not directed at this thread in particular, nor any specific user, and that I have not used the feature myself on this thread nor anyone who has posted in it.

I just point them out in case people find them useful, be it here or anywhere across the forum.

Cheers,
Marc

Sorry, LDBoblo, but I have noted that you're more often than not compelled to reasonably attend to the opinion rather than the person expressing it, and I'm not in the habit of ignoring people just because I sometimes disagree with them.

Cheers,

After some consideration may I ask that the entire posting be removed?

Too many people are reading only the first posting and then bursting into flame.

If you wish, you can leave this last post to show that it was at my request.

All seems fine now, and there weren't that many strongly reactive posts in the first place. No need to add drama.
