Ever so interesting ...

Sea water is corrosive over time ... all that salt and other minerals, you know.

Purses made by PacSafe are wonderful ... they have a water bottle slot on the outside of the purse, so you don't have these accidents.

I am still on drugs.

It may rain today.

I am going to try to get some outside "stuff" done before it does (rain).

I know you know .... I just like to remind you guys about every three minutes because I am a self-important ass.

The new car is freaking gorgeous!!! It's pretty, no .... it's beautiful .... and it's aerodynamically perfect. It's got so many gadgets built into it I don't even know where to start listing them.

It's even got this odd "ambient lighting" thingie with seven color settings so you can have this colorful low lighting at night ... like sitting in a nightclub. And, the seats and mirrors remember how you set them, so if someone changes how you like to have them set up, you just push a button and they move around and reset themselves to how you like them.

It also gets better gas mileage and has more cargo room than my Escape did.

Yep .... love the car.

OH my God! They've been doing the the same thing here.....only they make them really small.......no one in Arizona knows how to use them...........so you have all sorts of people just sitting there waiting for cars to go by, or just driving around then suddenly veering over to the wrong lane to turn off.....its hilarious.

Why shouldn't a passenger have access to the restaurant menu? It certainly shouldn't be a requirement, but it does improve my impression of a restaurant if they have braille menus available.

I can see the use of braille menus at restaurants, but drive thru fast food places are something else entirely.

Obviously, the blind person won't be driving.

For the passenger to get out, walk around the car, use a braille menu would be
1) unsafe,
2) it would really hold up the line.

My problem with these is when they try to change how they work. By default you should always yield to cars in the rotary/roundabout.

But, I have seen some of these things where they put stop/yield signs for the in the round about traffic. Basically making 1 path along the more major road have the right of way. The is just silly if not down right dangerous in my opinion.

The thinking here is "well, they work really well in Europe.......so they should work here."

Then they change the concept entirely.

Basically what DG said. I've been yelled at for riding my horse through a drivethrough, so I'm certain a blind pedestrian is far more vulnerable.

Sorry .... it's a Lincoln MKX. Sort of a crossover between an SUV and a sedan.

http://www.lincoln.com/mkx/home.asp

The one shown on the main page is the color I got ... Sterling Gray. I also got a camel leather interior with the ultimate and elite interior packages.

I Just finished washing all of the bugs off it (on drugs, naturally ... it's been well over 3 minutes since I told you all last) .... and eventually I will have room in the garage for it.

Sorry, I was thinking of paper menus, not something that's mounted permanently on the ordering window. That is a strange idea.
