The white bar was always there, the only change is making the dots more prominent. And I dont know what color scheme diego77 is using that causes them to be black on his system, on mine they are grey. This commit should make them look a little nicer, see attached screenshot. https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibr...d9e7d373e8535d

Hi Kovid! Ok! The white bars are more noticeable because the thickness caused by the new dots. Just an idea: why not make those bars transparent, and a little bit thicker so the dots never touch the image ??

I am on Monterrey with a little tweak on the system color (light menus with dark menu bar) Maybe that's the reason I see the black dots.... changing the osx completely to light didn't fix it. I'll test other tweaks...
In Calibre I tried System default, light and dark palette, and always see the black dots.
