I had one kobo forma that also needed an incredible amount of effort.
The button is very hard to press even with the back cover removed. The button we press is plastic on the outside and rubber on the inside. For myself, I just put insulation tape on (two layers). |

So WHAT exactly causes the power button to be so hard to push?
(And can it be 'altered' for a better experience?) |

If it was just a hard to press button I could live with it. But on mine I couldn't even turn it on or off 99% of the time. I was trying to grasp what is normal and what is not for a regular Forma.

Is it the case that the button applies pressure around the switch but not on it?

Sorry, I guess it's just going over my head. I've never heard of vampires having a 28 day cycle? When I google "vampires 28 day cycle" the only things I can find are people asking if female vampires menstruate. Is that what you're talking about?

Given that in most of the stories my wife has read, vampires have very notable issues around blood and that the average menstrual cycle runs from 21-35 days with 28 days as the average length, it seems somewhat logical that a romance between a male vampire and a female human would run into severe issues around then. I would suspect that since female vampires are undead, they would not menstruate but that is up to the author's imagination. There are some who make my imagination look straight forward and unwarped.
