I've finally taken the plunge and updated Calibre to the latest version, new viewer and all.

Regarding the viewer - which was my reason for sticking with the old version of Calibre - I now find that Kovid's recent changes make it possible for me to adjust the viewer just to my liking: terrific job Mr. K!

I have just one small query, though. After setting up the keyboard shortcuts so that the Home and End keys take me to the beginning and end of a book, I find that the End key doesn't work, although the Home key does. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Thanks, and regards,

M.

Yes. But I'd changed both the "Scroll to the end of the current file" and "Scroll to the end of the book" to the End key. Silly me. I removed the "Scroll to the end of the current file" altogether and now the End key does as it's told.

Thanks for your comment.
