The best customer service is the one that can solve my problem when I have one. I've not had a need to contact Kobo's CS. I have had to contact Amazon's CS and I've had both good and poor CS. I've contacted Sony's CS when they made Readers and I've had good service.

Of the two, I've only used Amazon and their customer service is very good on the whole.
