I am interested in the Aura second addition because it has the comfort light. The Aura one seems to big.

I have the Kobo Glo HD which I am happy with but would like the comfort light.

Anyway my question is, if anyone can help, is this.

My Glo HD has 300 ppi but the Aura second addition.only has 265, is the lower ppi noticeable.

I think you mean the "Aura H2O Edition 2". This is the new 6.8" device and has "ComfortLight PRO" like the Aura ONE. The "Aura Edition 2" has been around for about six months and has the non-colour changing light. It also has a ppi of 212.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences. I bought one and have been using it for about 24 hours so far. I gotta say I love it.

The bigger screen feels so much more like reading an actual book.
The blue light reduction thing (screen orangish) is really nice as I am very sensitive to blue light for sleep.
Loading books I own with Calibre is easy and most books I've looked for I can find on Kobo store. Wish they had more theological stuff though.
The auto light sensor for screen brightness really is pathetic (it is fantastic on Kindle Voyage), but not a huge deal to self control that.
One small thing I love is that the cover of the book I'm reading is the sleep screen, I have missed seeing the cover of a book over and over again like when reading paper and this certainly makes up some of that.

Anyway, to anyone else who is on the fence, I'd recommend giving it a try. Once I learned they have a 30 day return for any reason deal I was willing give it a shot and certainly glad I did.
