Oh yeah. I forgot to add that bit. However, books are automatically sorted according to the series in Kobo (it falls under Collections I think. I forgot) with the plugin mentioned. I can't check since both my Kobo devices are broken). Kobo has the advantage when it comes to organising books IMHO.

Jim, I have a Nook Glo and it holds hundreds of books even without an SD card. It's much smaller than the HD+ (which I also have) and very, very light. The original Nook Glo has 2.0 Gigs of AVAILABLE space for your books. Obviously, if you have a lot of pdf files or highly illustrated books, that would fill up. I normally keep mostly non-illustrated novels on my Nook Glo. I have a couple of hundred books on now and it says I still have 87% of space free.
Hope this helps. I don't have the Nook Glo Plus. I understand that it is waterproof, which is a good feature if you need it. |

My recommendation would be the Aura H2O. |

The problem with people saying Kobo's are buggy is that a lot of these people are not using the latest firmware which works pretty well. So when someone says Kobo is buggy, ask what firmware and if it's not 3.19.5761,ignore them. Also, sometimes it is user error. There is a thread on MR about the English dictionary being crap. But that's wrong. One of the words the person mentioned as not being available is in the dictionary. So even if the person saying this is on the latest firmware, check to see if it could be user error.
I agree 100% with Nate. I also would highly recommend the H2O. It's not buggy. The screen is better than that of the new Kindle Oasis and with only 5 or 6 LEDs, the light does not have light cones and is very even. |

I had the latest firmware on my Kobo before it broke down. Comparing it with the Kindle's, the Kobo is a bit slower and highlighting text is not as smooth (I often had to retry highlighting before getting it right). Those are just some of my gripes with their software.

My Kobo s run 3.19.5613 with no trouble.
One thing I didn't see anyone mention. Yes, you can use collections on the Kindle, but you can't use Calibre to create or manage those collections. You have to do it manually on the device, as I recall. |

For Kobo, convert to kepub with Calibre. It becomes much faster. And use cbz for comics, it is lightning fast too.
ePub isn't the fastest format Kobo has, and its biggest upside to kepub is ligatures. Kepub doesn't show them. |

Thanks, Harry, I'll probably do that as I'm confident I won't need them (but will save a copy elsewhere as you suggest).
