But now it seems, as you say, that there have been a lot of updates. It has 3 things that my Smart Audiobook player, which I love, lacks: customizable Rewind & FF buttons, an EQ, and most importantly, the ability to lock the phone in portrait mode (want auto-screen rotation on the phone itself but not for an audiobook app - countless times I've tried to go back 10 seconds only to have the screen rotate just as I press the button and end up hitting the next chapter button instead - grrr). I'm gonna try Listen again! |

For my own MP3s on Android and iOS, I just use the Audible player. I love its sleep mode and Other controls, and you can import non-Audible books into it.

Since I read almost exclusively Audible books, with DRM of course, I haven't had much opportunity to try other players, but the Audible player seems to meet all my needs including read speed, bookmarks and sleep mode.

All the time. I hardly have time to read and it allows me to get my need for stories. Best is the listening and mowing, dish washing and cross stitching.
