You do have to turn the right knob. Maybe the left knob too depending on the shower.

Well, thanks for the helpful suggestions, and the ones that made me laugh. Showers are for clean, baths are for relax. Ziplock bag it is, then!

By having a shower, you don't risk your reader, you use a lot less water, you get cleaner, you take less time showering and can then go read elsewhere in comfort. So really, a shower is a win-win where a bath is a lose-lose. And you do know that when you finish a bath, you are still dirty from sitting in dirty water.

I use the TrendyDigital WaterGuard bags (they come in different sizes) for my bathtub reading.

Some people, notably the French I believe, have a bath to relax (and it does a lot more for aching muscles than a shower ever can), and then get out and have a quick shower to rinse off. I have tried this, but it does seem more trouble than it's worth. 99 times out of 100 it's the shower for me, unless I've had a hard day in the garden (also a rare event ).

I'm not sure about the ziplock bag option - don't you ever get condensation in the bag?

My apartment only has a shower. So no bath time reading for me. I would scared to read in the bathtub though. I'm rather clumsy and I can see myself dropping my 350 and being devastated.

That is what I use too. And, they come in different colors.

my bathtub has a shower attachment, so I can shower off after a nice soak - best of both worlds.

I quite enjoy, partaking in a few adult recreational substances, then chilling for a bit in a steaming hot tub, while i read. It's an amazing escape and perhaps one of my biggest guilty pleasures.

I've read paperbacks, E-readers and on my playbook. Have never dropped one in the water.

The e-reader (non touch screen) was the easiest, due to it's light weight, and only having to press a single button one handed to navigate.

The Playbook is what i'm currently using. its great. Turn the lights completely off and just read in the pitch black with some tunes going

Showers are great. Showers are practical. they're intended to get you clean. Baths are luxury. I don't take a bath to get clean. I take it to relax. I play a lot of hockey. my legs get sore, nothing feels great on sore achy muscles than a soak
