My previous cell was iPhone4, now I am with Samsung Galaxy Note, 5.3" works much better for me than 3.5". So much easier for eyes, the first phone I can read books without eye pain! I use it rather like a small tablet with rare phone calls. I have small hands, but no problem with 2-handed usage.

What would make me switch is an Iphone with a phone radio that actually works. Every friend I've got with an iPhone has trouble with calls dropping. I get tired of having so much trouble hearing them when they call, whereas I rarely have problems with calls from non-iPhones. Pity because I really like the iOS.

Even after the correction, there is no standard to determine how many bars to show relative to the dBm reported by the modem, so saying that X phone has better reception than Y phone based on bars is misleading. It should be measured on dBm; if the iPhone shows a higher dBm than your Samsung, then it indeed has better reception. |

I don't really care about dBm readings. All I know is in the same room, I get more frequent dropouts/timeouts on the Samsung (Nexus S) on both Wi-Fi and cellular than I do on the iPhone.
