i updated my KT to 5.1.0 and tried to connect to the network (WPA2 enterprise) in the office, but found that the DHCP settings were all grayed out. i proceed to fill in other settings and was able to connect to the network. However, the connection would be lost when KT woke up from sleep mode and i have to do the setting again. could someone tell me what the problems are. thanks.

Thank you all.
Jailbreak was succesful. But i could not get WPA working. Our WIFI network works with TTLS and inner authentication is PAP. When i execute sh /mnt/us/extensions/wpa_eap/wpa_eap.sh /mnt/us/extensions/wpa_eap/networks/saunet.cfg nothing happens when i check with ifconfig. Any suggestions? |

Note: there is a KUAL button to copy that message buffer to a text document. Install the KUAL launcher and the dmesg -> document button. If nothing useful there, you may have to read up on the version of wifid that is installed on your Kindle and also check its configuration file(s). Note: You will need terminal access to the Kindle for this second step in the investigation. (use USB networking, and the KUAL start/stop USB networking button) Filtering post here by the "HowTo" and/or "Tools" prefix may help you find more information on all of the above. Plus, don't overlook the things indexed by our master index (see that sticky). Last edited by knc1; 06-03-2013 at 09:26 AM. |

I've made the connection. Thanks for great work!
Can there be a icon on KUAL interface to connect simply? Or we have to run the sh wpa.sh wpa.conf for every connection? |

Did anyone get this working with the Kindle 4 NT? I know it can connect using WPA-EAP (https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kind...ing_to_eduroam), but I lack a spare router to try and set it up, and this script seems a good alternative to firmware-upgrading.
