I am sorry to say that you have been banned. After violation of several of forum rules, sending threats, and attacking our staff, we have decided it's best for our community if you were no longer in it. We don't feel that we have alienated you but you have alienated us. We spent many hours today that could've been used for development and testing to figure out how to handle your behavior. We hope you continue to enjoy your eDGe.

I for one support this decision. It's sad that it has unfortunately come to this. Honest and courteous questions, suggestions and help are a hallmark of the Forums and forum members, while the posts of vicinc have not been in the same spirit and sadly have cast a dark shadow on the community.

There's a way to disagree without being disagreeable.

I wonder what made him so angry to begin with. Why buy, or keep, a product that you so obviously do not like much? Had the edge not suited my purposes I would have sent it back and written off the restocking fee as a lesson learned.

Short attention span coupled with immaturity. Never seen anyone before who expected to receive a full OS rewrite six hours after making a post.

His company was snubbed for UK distribution.

He's had sand in his Vaseline ever since.

His first posts about the eDGe were very complimentary

Although at this point, I think that everyone would probably be best off not discussing vicinc or speculate about his possible motives for his bizarre series of posts over the past few days. He's been (justifiably) banned and is no longer here to defend or explain himself, so in the interest of fairness to him, it's just not polite. More importantly, my experience with internet trolls is that they revel in the attention and he'll likely return to these boards under a new username if he thinks that he still has an audience. Whatever sick satisfaction that might be had by analyzing him is more than offset by the downside of him ever returning. There are more interesting topics to discuss, no?

I am really feeling sorry about you guys. Where is the freedom of speech? this was the most abusive forum I ever seen. To ban a user because he wants a better device and want to help. But I have got banned for asking about asking for the release of the source code and mentioning
My device goes on ebay tonight. I will visit this forum/site after one year and I bet all of you (apart from Boris, who works for entourage systems) will be moving to better devices with friendly support and staff. I did tried to call their lines, all of them are VOIP and messaging services, so this is indeed not a proper company. sorry to say but their is a lot of vapour and bloatware here and very naive users! Good luck to all of you and I really feel sorry about this project. I think I will get banned again, probably (sure) they will delete my messages.

also, I did open a ticket yesterday regarding the GPL violations, and this was the cherry on the top for Entourage, however be aware I started the GPL violation procedure.

It is highly probable that will be true. It will be the eDGe Model 3.0.

If this is the case and will run on pixel qi / eink screen I will buy one. I bet anybody £50 that will be no edge 3.
