Can't answer about the 3 cards limit, but another thing about BN giftcards is that you can use the same card online and in stores (obviously unlike amazon). So if you have a $20 balance, you can store that card and balance online. However, you can also take the physical card to the store and use $10, and the remaining $10 will still be available online. I shop both the online site and brick & mortar stores, so it's a nice feature. Essentially, the physical gift card doesn't become a zero balance or useless just because you attach it to your online account.

This is my first experience purchasing a groupon and cannot say that I am impressed. It took a day just to be able to log on to my account. Even so, they are still having problems with the site and I still cannot print my groupon to use. A good deal is only a good deal if you can actually put your purchase to use.

I just made my purchace at B&N online with no problem. It was ready to use last night, but I wanted to make sure of what I wanted to buy.

I did use the groupon app for my ipod to purchase the $20 giftcard like someone else mentioned.

What a great offer, and thankfully I didn't have any issues purchasing or at login. The waiting part was the worst of it, I wanted to use my groupon as soon as I purchased it.

I finally got to print my Groupon. It does say you can use it in the brick and morter stores. I added mine to my nook ebook gift cards on my account online. Note that if you intend to purchase e-books with your groupon, there is a separate place on the B&N site to add the gift card. There is a link on the groupon directly to the NOOKbook redemption page.

I think mine is already spent as I belong to a book discussion group and there are a few titles I need for that.

I wish I could have used my credit to buy this deal! I wasn't impressed by Groupon's superbowl commercials, but I definitely still love the company!

You could get around the 1 card purchase limit if you switched cities in the iPhone app. Picked up 10 that way, already used them so I wouldn't forget to. Very awesome deal. Of course, I have to ignore the grouping customer service Rep that helpfully offered to refund the 9 extra groupons I supposively couldn't use.....
