MrPLD: I' remember: MSdos irreparabely (at least I never found a way to reuse them again bestroyed DR formatted floppies...
and they weren't cheap these days *sigh* IMHO MS still owes me money for some because of that.

Wow, a fellow veteran. Yeah, this stupid formats and vendor lockin thing has been around for centuries, if not millennia, and it's just ridiculous that it has to continue to be this way. But alas, greed does funny things to the brain. It's why I hate it so much.
